Leslie LaCombe grew up in Canada and has a business degree from the University of Toronto. She worked in film and television for many years, both in the office and in the art department. Leslie eventually left the film business to make jewelry with a local designer. In 2004 she studied silver jewelry design with Billy King in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and wiithin a few months of study her work was on display at a prominent local gallery.Today Leslie lives in Miami, Florida. She teaches at the Art Center South Florida and produces her unique creations from her studio in South Beach.

Leslie has traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, India and parts of Europe. Her experience with these cultures and environments naturally expresses itself in her work. She is inspired by nature, the beauty of stones and the limitless possibilities of sculpting metal. Her work is handcrafted and most of her pieces are one-of-a-kind.
